Some of you may know that Paul Edmund, my devoted husband, had a birthday recently. Yes, old PJ turned a wizened and profound 79 years on the second of January this year. Luckily, we had the children and grandchildren there in attendance along with a good friend and neighbor, Doak to prove this actually happened. Paul was so deeelited by it all he stood and scratched out a few rondos of his famous "funky chicken" dance (again, see yesterday's blog for more details). I was stunned by his fluid body poetry. Paul is, for me, the Mikhail Baryshnikov of love!

I just got my hands on a piccie or two from that Glorious Day which I would like to share now with you. Paul received two gifts....a scrumptious orange cake whipped up by the loving hands of his granddaughter, Ariel "Perfect Lips" Wusthoff (see yesterday's blog entry) and a sweatshirt from all of the chirrens. Queen Janita prepared her taste sensation lasagna to be eaten later for dinner.
Wild fun was had by all!
Ariel's birthday was the next day, 3 January but she had to leave. Something about a tryout for Hollywood. In Florida?! The production will be entititle "Girls gone Wild, They get Down!!" which is, I was told, the modern equivalent of the Gidget films of yore (
